  • Wheat Flour - 10.6 oz
  • Milk - 5 fl oz
  • Sugar - 0.5 oz
  • Salt - a pinch
  • Dry yeast - 0.4 oz
  • Whole egg - 1 piece
  • Water - 2 tablespoons
  • Butter - 1.1 oz

Step by Step guide

Step 1

In a bowl, knead all the ingredients until smooth. Form into a ball, cover with a towel, and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour 30 minutes.

Step 2

Roll the dough into a log and cut into portion-sized pieces weighing 50 grams. Shape into balls and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush with egg yolk diluted with water. Do not cover and let the buns rise for 1 hour 20 minutes.

Step 3

Preheat the oven to 356°F, place the baking sheet with the buns in the oven for 20 minutes. Remove from the baking sheet and let cool on a wire rack.
