Description
The ice cream is not very sweet, so if you prefer it sweeter, feel free to increase the amount of honey!
Ingredients
- Milk - 17 fl oz
- Butter - 1.8 oz
- Wheat Flour - 2 tablespoons
- Honey - 3 tablespoons
- Freeze-dried strawberry powder - 7.1 oz
- Vanilla extract - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
In a heavy-bottomed saucepan, add the butter and melt it over medium heat, then add the flour, mix thoroughly, pour in the milk, and cook until thickened (like a béchamel sauce).
Step 2
Once the base thickens, remove from heat, transfer to a bowl, and let it cool significantly, then stir in the honey (it must be liquid and added to the ice cream mixture at room temperature to retain its beneficial properties).
Step 3
Thaw the strawberries and mash them with a fork.
Step 4
Pour the milk cream into the freezer, leave for 20 minutes, then mix in the strawberries, leave for another 30 minutes, and place in the refrigerator for 1 to 1.5 hours.
