Ingredients
- 3.2% Milk - 13 fl oz
- Dry Malted Milk Powder - 0.9 oz
- Sugar - 2.6 oz
- Vanilla salt - 0.4 oz
- Corn Starch - 2 teaspoons
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Mix the vanilla sugar and regular sugar with the dry milk. Separately, dissolve 2 teaspoons of cornstarch in 50 ml of milk. Combine the remaining milk with the dry sugar-milk mixture, pour it into a saucepan, place it over medium heat, and bring to a boil. Add the milk with the dissolved cornstarch to the saucepan and cook until thickened, stirring constantly. After thickening, remove from heat and cool first at room temperature, then refrigerate overnight.
Step 2
Remove the cold mixture from the refrigerator, pour it into an ice cream maker, and churn according to the instructions for 20–40 minutes. Transfer the finished ice cream to a container and place it in the freezer for about 3 hours until fully set.
Step 3
If you don't have an ice cream maker, immediately pour the mixture into a container and place it in the freezer. Stir the contents of the container every 20–30 minutes until set.
