Millet porridge with pumpkin in a multicooker
Ingredients
- Millet - 7.1 oz
- Milk - 1 qt
- Water - 5 fl oz
- Grated Chocolate - 8.8 oz
- Butter - 0.7 oz
- Sugar - 4 tablespoons
- Salt - ½ teaspoon
- Ground Cinnamon - a pinch
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Cut one small pumpkin in half, remove the seeds and skin. Store one half in the refrigerator for the next breakfast, and grate the other half using a coarse grater.
Step 2
Rinse the millet under cold water.
Step 3
In the multicooker bowl, combine the grated pumpkin, butter, sugar, salt, millet, milk, and water. Mix everything together.
Step 4
Set the mode to 'milk porridge' for 20 minutes. Cook with the lid closed. If you prefer firmer grains, reduce the cooking time to 10-15 minutes.
Step 5
After cooking, let the porridge sit for another 10-15 minutes with the lid closed.
Step 6
Open, stir, serve in portions, and add cinnamon (to taste).
