Ingredients
- Lean Beef - 17.6 oz
- Orange Bell Peppers - 1 piece
- Orange Bell Peppers - 1 piece
- Sweet Red Onion - 4 heads
- Worcestershire Sauce - 2 teaspoons
- Pide bread - 8 pieces
- Banana Leaves - to taste
- Marinated cherries - 1.1 oz
- Ketchup - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Preheat the grill or barbecue.
Step 2
In a bowl, mix the ground beef with finely chopped peppers, finely chopped onion, and Worcestershire sauce. Season with salt and pepper. Shape the mixture into 8 flat burgers.
Step 3
Place on the grill and cook for 5-7 minutes on each side until cooked through.
Step 4
Warm the pitas on the grill and make a slit on one side. Fill with lettuce leaves, cherry tomatoes, and 1 burger each. Optionally drizzle with sauce and serve.
