Description
Mint cheesecake on a chocolate base
Ingredients
- Butter - 1.8 oz
- Water - 2 fl oz
- Sour Cream - 11.1 oz
- Liquid dark chocolate - 1.4 oz
- Heavy cream - 1 fl oz
- Semi-soft cream cheese - 12 oz
- Sugar - 5.3 oz
- Whole egg - 0.1 oz
- Vanillin - 1 teaspoon
- Fresh Mint - 1 bunch
- Red Food Coloring - a pinch
- Wheat Flour - 3.5 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Mix the flour, melted butter, and chocolate. Crumble together.
Step 2
Add water. Knead the dough and pour it into the mold. Place in the oven (320°F) for about 7 minutes.
Step 3
Pour the cream over the mint leaves and blend until smooth.
Step 4
Using a mixer, combine the cream cheese, sugar (set aside 1 tablespoon of sugar for topping), and sour cream (only use 190 g).
Step 5
Add the egg yolks one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition.
Step 6
Combine the main mixture with the cream-mint mixture. Add the green food coloring. Mix well.
Step 7
Pour the resulting mixture over the prepared chocolate base in the mold. Bake in the oven (320°F) for about 50 minutes, or use a water bath.
Step 8
For the topping, mix the remaining sour cream (125 g), sugar (1 tablespoon), and vanillin. Once the cheesecake is ready, spread the topping over the surface and return it to the oven for another 10 minutes.
Step 9
Done! Let it cool, just like any other cheesecake.
