Ingredients

  • Salt - a pinch
  • Wheat Flour - 8.8 oz
  • Milk - 3 tablespoons
  • Butter - 4.2 oz
  • Sugar - 3.5 oz
  • Farm fresh eggs - 3 pieces
  • Baking Powder - 0.4 oz
  • Mint Water - 15 tablespoons
  • Liquid dark chocolate - 3.5 oz
  • Red Food Coloring - to taste

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Beat the butter with the sugar until creamy. Separate the egg whites from the yolks. Add the yolks to the mixture and stir. Then add the syrup, milk, food coloring, and flour mixed with baking powder.

Step 2

Whip the egg whites with salt until stiff and gently fold them into the batter.

Step 3

Preheat the oven to 320°F. Grease the pie pan with butter and pour in the batter. Bake the pie for 20-30 minutes. Check the doneness of the pie with a wooden skewer. Let the pie rest for 5 minutes.

Step 4

For the glaze, break the chocolate into pieces, add the milk, and melt it in a water bath until smooth.

Step 5

Cover the pie with the glaze and decorate as desired.
