Ingredients
- Cocoa Powder - 1 tablespoon
- Ground Cinnamon - a pinch
- Powdered Sugar - 1 cup
- Vanilla salt - ½ teaspoon
- Egg white - 4 pieces
- Instant coffee - ½ teaspoon
- Chopped almonds - 2.1 oz
- Salt - ¼ teaspoon
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 248°F. Grease a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Step 2
Sift the powdered sugar, cocoa, coffee, and salt. Transfer to a blender and add the almonds. Grind well until it reaches a powdery consistency.
Step 3
In a clean bowl, whip the egg whites with vanilla until stiff peaks form. Gently fold in the ground mixture.
Step 4
Spoon 1 tablespoon of the batter onto the baking sheet, leaving space between the meringues.
Step 5
Place in the oven for 2-3 hours, then turn off the oven and leave the meringues inside for another 20 minutes. Serve immediately.
