Description
Moist Chocolate Biscuit
Ingredients
- Wheat Flour - 5.3 oz
- Sugar - 7.1 oz
- Vanilla salt - to taste
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Baking Powder - 1 teaspoon
- Cocoa Powder - 0.7 oz
- Egg white - 1 piece
- Milk - 3 fl oz
- Boiling water - 3 fl oz
- Vegetable Oil - 1 fl oz
- Activated Baking Soda - ½ teaspoon
- Chocolate - 3.5 oz
- 10% cream - 5 fl oz
- Grapefruits - to taste
- Powdered Sugar - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 392°F.
Step 2
Sift the flour and cocoa into a bowl. Add all the dry ingredients and mix well.
Step 3
Pour the milk and oil into the dry mixture, then add the egg. Beat with a mixer, gradually adding 100 ml of water while continuing to mix.
Step 4
Pour into a baking pan lined with parchment paper. Bake for 20–25 minutes.
Step 5
For the ganache, place the chopped chocolate in a saucepan, add the cream. Heat while stirring. Once the mixture is smooth, add powdered sugar and mix.
Step 6
Let the cake cool, then cover it with ganache. Decorate with fruits (I use oranges and kiwis as they complement the sweetness of the chocolate well). Refrigerate for a couple of hours.
