- Champignons - 14.1 oz
- Puff Pastry - 1 piece
- Onion - 1 piece
- Cheese Spread - 5.3 oz
- Milk - 8 fl oz
- Chicken Egg - 2 pieces
- Tomatoes - 2 pieces
- Herbs - 1 bunch
- Spices - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Roll out the dough and place it in a greased baking dish, creating high edges (3 cm). Prick the dough frequently with a fork and sprinkle half of the grated cheese on top. Bake in the oven at 338°F for 10 minutes.
Step 2
Chop the mushrooms and sauté them with onions until cooked through.
Step 3
Place the mushrooms on top of the dough, season with salt, and add spices to taste.
Step 4
Chop the herbs and sprinkle them over the mushrooms.
Step 5
Slice the tomatoes into wedges and arrange them in a circle on top of the greens, then sprinkle with salt.
Step 6
Beat the eggs, add the milk, the remaining grated cheese, season with salt, and if desired, add spices (for example, an Israeli spice blend containing seeds, pepper, and more).
Step 7
Pour the filling into the pie crust and bake in the oven at 356°F for 30 to 40 minutes, until cooked through.
