Description
Another recipe from the aforementioned restaurant 'The Gourmet'. This dessert is excellent, largely because you can use store-bought pastry here. The recipe was shared with us by Emily Johnson, author of the book 'Flavors of the World with Emily Johnson. Tula'.
Ingredients
- Puff Pastry - 17.6 oz
- Chicken Egg - 2 pieces
- 33% Cream - 5 fl oz
- Sugar - 2.6 oz
- Fresh Berries - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Cut the puff pastry into eight pieces (four pieces per serving). Bake in the oven at 356°F for 5 to 7 minutes.
Step 2
For the cream, separate the egg whites from the yolks. Whip the egg whites until they form a fluffy mass and have increased in volume by one and a half times. In a separate bowl, whip the sugar and chilled cream until you achieve a thick, creamy consistency. Gently fold the whipped egg whites and cream into the yolks.
Step 3
Layer the baked dough with cream. Garnish with berries.
