Description
A heartier version of the Italian omelette frittata — made with spaghetti, without leeks, but still featuring the same Parmesan. It turns out to be a kind of Neapolitan kugel made from pasta.
Ingredients
- Spaghetti - 5.3 oz
- Chicken Egg - 3 pieces
- Parmesan Cheese - 1.8 oz
- Olive Oil - 1 fl oz
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Prepare the necessary ingredients.
Step 2
Add the spaghetti to boiling salted water and cook until al dente, according to the package instructions.
Step 3
Crack the eggs into a bowl and add grated Parmesan cheese.
Step 4
Add salt and pepper.
Step 5
Beat until smooth.
Step 6
Add the spaghetti to the eggs and mix well.
Step 7
Heat olive oil in a skillet.
Step 8
Place the spaghetti with the eggs in a flat layer using a spatula.
Step 9
Cook over low heat for 10-15 minutes, until the bottom of the frittata is golden brown. Cover the pan with a plate, flip it over, and carefully place the frittata back into the pan upside down.
Step 10
Fry for another 5 minutes and serve.
