Description
A classic winter dessert: vanilla, cinnamon, nuts, chocolate. A simple cozy bake that doesn't require advanced skills. Any imperfections can be disguised with festive decor: you can use sugared cranberries or any other available berries. On the New Year's table, this cake can easily replace a traditional cake, and if you want to bring a sweet gift to a gathering, it will come in handy.
Ingredients
- Butter - 3.2 oz
- Chicken Egg - 3 pieces
- Wheat Flour - 3.5 oz
- Cocoa Powder - 1.2 oz
- Baking Powder - 0.2 oz
- Vanilla Pod - 1 piece
- Sugar - 6 oz
- Salt - a pinch
- Walnuts - 1.8 oz
- Bittersweet Chocolate - 1.8 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Place the softened butter and the other ingredients, except for the nuts and chocolate, into the mixing bowl. Mix until smooth and well combined.
Step 2
Add the nuts and chocolate, and stir with a spatula.
Step 3
Line a heatproof baking dish with parchment paper. Transfer the dough and place it in an oven preheated to 356°F (350 degrees Fahrenheit) for 30–40 minutes. Then let it cool. The finished cake can be decorated with powdered sugar and fresh berries or fruits, if desired.
