- Activated Baking Soda - 1 teaspoon
- Ground Cinnamon - 1 teaspoon
- Grated Ginger Root - 2 teaspoons
- Ground Nutmeg - 1 teaspoon
- Butter - 3.5 oz
- Sugar - 3.9 oz
- Honey - 3 teaspoons
Step by Step guide

Mix all the spices and baking soda.
Step 2
Then add the flour to the spices.
Step 3
In a separate bowl, cream the butter with the sugar using a mixer.
Step 4
Next, add the warmed honey from the microwave and the egg to the butter. Mix everything together.
Step 5
Now add the flour with the spices to the egg-butter mixture and knead the dough. Gradually, the dough should take on a brown hue. Place the dough in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
Step 6
Remove the dough from the refrigerator, roll it out thinly, and cut out shapes.
Step 7
Place the shapes on a greased baking sheet and bake at 356°F for about 5 minutes.
