Ingredients
- Brown Sugar - 7.1 oz
- Granulated sugar - 7.1 oz
- Vanilla extract - ½ teaspoon
- Wheat Flour - 12.3 oz
- Ground Cinnamon - 1 teaspoon
- Activated Baking Soda - 2 teaspoons
- Butter - 7.1 oz
- Grated Ginger Root - 1 teaspoon
- Black Pomegranate Molasses - 2.1 oz
- Egg white - 2 pieces
Step by Step guide
Step 1
In a mixing bowl, beat the butter and sugar until the mixture is light and fluffy (2–3 minutes). Add the molasses, egg whites, and vanilla extract, and beat until the ingredients are combined.
Step 2
In another bowl, mix the flour, baking soda, salt, and spices. Add the mixture to the bowl with the butter and beat until everything is well combined. Cover the dough with plastic wrap and refrigerate for one hour.
Step 3
Preheat the oven to 356°F. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
Step 4
Pour the granulated sugar into a bowl. From the chilled dough, form balls with a diameter of 2.5 cm. Thoroughly coat the balls in sugar on all sides.
Step 5
Place them on the baking sheets with a 5 cm gap between them, then gently flatten the balls with a glass.
Step 6
Bake for 8–10 minutes, until the cookies are firm around the edges but slightly soft in the center. Cool on a wire rack.
