No-Bake Chocolate Cake with Cookies and Hazelnuts
Ingredients
- Nutella® - 4 tablespoons
- Cream - 5 fl oz
- Shortbread Cookies - 10 oz
- Roasted Peanuts - 5 oz
- Butter - 5 oz
- Liquid dark chocolate - 5 oz
- Liquid dark chocolate - 5 oz
- White Chocolate - 0 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Cake: Line a 20 cm mold with plastic wrap or foil. Lightly grease with butter. The smaller the mold, the taller the cake.
Step 2
Break the cookies into small pieces and mix with the chopped hazelnuts.
Step 3
In a bowl, combine the butter, chocolate, cream, and Nutella. Melt over a water bath or in the microwave.
Step 4
Pour the chocolate mixture over the cookies and gently stir.
Step 5
Press down lightly to spread the cookie mixture evenly in the mold.
Step 6
Chill for 1–2 hours in the refrigerator or 5–10 minutes in the freezer.
Step 7
For the glaze: Combine the chocolate and Nutella and pour in the hot cream.
Step 8
Wait 30 seconds, then stir until smooth.
Step 9
Place the cake on a rack and drizzle with the glaze.
Step 10
Decorate the cake with crushed cookies and hazelnuts.
