No-Bake Strawberry Banana Cake
Ingredients
- Cottage cheese - 8.8 oz
- 10% cream - 8 fl oz
- Bananas - 1 piece
- Natural Yogurt - 4.4 oz
- Sponge Cake Base - 2 pieces
- Strawberry - 7.1 oz
- Gelatin - 0.4 oz
- Fruit Jelly - 1 tablespoon
- Powdered Sugar - 2 tablespoons
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Cut the prepared sponge cake rolls into 1 cm thick slices and tightly arrange them in a springform pan (22 cm in diameter), trying not to leave gaps between the pieces.
Step 2
Soak the gelatin in cold water, let it swell for about 40 minutes, and then bring it to a boil, but do not boil!
Step 3
Blend the cottage cheese, banana, and yogurt in a blender until creamy (to avoid lumps of cottage cheese).
Step 4
Add the slightly cooled gelatin to the cottage cheese mixture and mix well.
Step 5
Whip the cream with powdered sugar until peaks form.
Step 6
Gently fold the cottage cheese cream into the whipped cream.
Step 7
Spread a layer of the cottage cheese-cream mixture over the sponge cake, and place the pan in the freezer for about 25-30 minutes, then remove, layer another sponge cake, add another layer of the cream, and return to the freezer for another 25 minutes.
Step 8
Meanwhile, wash and dry the strawberries, then slice them lengthwise.
Step 9
Remove the cake and arrange the strawberries on top.
Step 10
You can pour jelly over the cake (jelly for cakes is sold in packets), or you can leave it without.
