Description
French rice pudding, known as tergul, is a dish from Upper Normandy. It requires minimal effort: all the ingredients are mixed in a pie dish and baked in the oven. The result is a wonderful alternative to the usual rice porridge for breakfast or even an unusual dessert. The classic recipe can be enhanced with berries, candied fruits, and nuts.
Ingredients
- Milk - 0 qt
- Rice - 5 oz
- Sugar - 5 oz
- Salt - a pinch
- Ground Cinnamon - 2 spoons
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Prepare the necessary ingredients.
Step 2
Place the rice in a ceramic baking dish with a capacity of at least two liters.
Step 3
Add salt and cinnamon.
Step 4
Add sugar.
Step 5
Mix everything together.
Step 6
Evenly distribute the contents of the mold.
Step 7
