Description

This dessert in the shape of salami can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 1 month. Prunes and hazelnuts can be replaced with dried apricots and pistachios.

  • Pitted Prunes - 8.8 oz
  • Sesame Seeds - 1 teaspoon
  • Hazelnuts - 0.9 oz
  • Ground Star Anise - ½ teaspoon

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Toast the nuts in the oven at 190°C or in a skillet over medium heat, then chop them finely.

Step 2

Finely chop the prunes.

Step 3

Mix the nuts with the prunes, sesame seeds, and star anise.

Step 4

Place the resulting mixture on plastic wrap and roll tightly to form a log.

Step 5

Store in the refrigerator and cut into pieces before serving.
