Ingredients

  • Sugar - 1 cup
  • Farm fresh eggs - 3 pieces
  • Butter - 7.1 oz
  • Kefir - 1 cup
  • Wheat Flour - 2½ cups
  • Nuts - to taste
  • Activated Baking Soda - ½ teaspoon

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Beat the egg yolks with sugar until light, add butter and half a cup of kefir, mix well. Add flour and knead the dough. Add the remaining kefir to achieve a consistency similar to thick sour cream, and add baking soda.

Step 2

Add chopped nuts to the prepared dough. Bake at 200–428°F for about 45–55 minutes.
