Ingredients
- Breadcrumbs - to taste
- Butter - 3.5 oz
- Farm fresh eggs - 10 pieces
- Sugar - 10.6 oz
- Hazelnut - 14.1 oz
- Wheat Flour - 3 tablespoons
- Citrus Zest Mix - 1.4 oz
- Liquid dark chocolate - 7.1 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Grease the inner surfaces of the molds (you will need 3 molds with a capacity of about 700 ml each) with fat or butter and sprinkle with breadcrumbs. Preheat the oven to 347°F. Separate the egg whites from the yolks. Whip the egg whites until stiff peaks form. In a separate bowl, beat the butter, yolks, and sugar.
Step 2
Add the nuts, flour, and lemon zest to the mixture. Then gently fold in the whipped egg whites. Fill the molds with the batter, place them in the oven, and bake for about 50 minutes.
Step 3
Remove the finished cakes from the oven, let them cool, and remove from the molds.
Step 4
Melt the chocolate and drizzle it over the cakes.
