Description

Before baking, let the rolls sit in a warm place for another 20 minutes; this will make the dough fluffier.

Ingredients

  • Milk - 7 fl oz
  • Dry yeast - 0.4 oz
  • Butter - 2.5 oz
  • Farm fresh eggs - 3 pieces
  • Wheat Flour - 4 cups
  • Sugar - 3.5 oz
  • Ground Cinnamon - 0.7 oz
  • Chopped almonds - 3.5 oz

Step by Step guide

Step 1

In a small saucepan, pour the required amount of milk, heat it, add the yeast and a tablespoon of sugar, mix, and let it sit in a warm place for 10 minutes.

Step 2

Now, in a deep bowl, crack the eggs (2 pieces), add the butter (40 g), and beat with a mixer.

Step 3

Add the risen yeast mixture to the bowl with the eggs and butter.

Step 4

Then gradually add the pre-sifted flour and knead the dough.

Step 5

Let the dough rise in a warm place for an hour, covered with a towel.

Step 6

Once the dough has risen, roll it out into a sheet (sprinkling the table with flour beforehand).

Step 7

In a plate, mix the chopped walnuts, cinnamon, and remaining sugar.

Step 8

Spread the butter over the dough sheet and evenly cover it with the sugar, cinnamon, and walnut mixture, then roll it up, stretch it, cut it lengthwise into two parts, twist them together, and then form into rolls.

Step 9

Grease a baking sheet with butter and line it with parchment paper.

Step 10

Place the rolls on the baking sheet, brush with beaten egg, and bake in the oven for 45-50 minutes at 356°F.
