Ingredients
- Nuts - 10 oz
- Oat flakes - ½ cup
- Honey - 10 oz
- Raisins - 5 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Place shelled nuts (walnuts, peanuts, or cashews) onto a clean skillet and lightly roast them, then let the walnuts and peanuts cool and remove the thin skin.
Step 2
Crush the prepared nuts into small pieces.
Step 3
Spread the oat flakes onto a baking sheet lined with greased parchment paper and place in a preheated oven at 355°F to dry out.
Step 4
Bring the honey to a boil, add the nuts, flakes, and raisins, and mix well.
Step 5
Transfer the mixture onto a plate (preferably a cooled marble slab), roll it out with a rolling pin dampened in cold water to a thickness of 1 cm, and cool.
Step 6
Before serving, cut into pieces of any shape.
