- Oat Flour - 7.1 oz
- Milk - 6 fl oz
- Brown Sugar - 2 tablespoons
- Egg - 1 piece
- Salt - ½ teaspoon
- Baking Soda - ½ teaspoon
- Olive Oil - 3 tablespoons
- Maple syrup - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Sift the flour into a deep bowl. If you only have oat flakes, grind them in a coffee grinder and sift into the bowl. Add the remaining dry ingredients. Mix well.
Step 2
Add the egg. Whisk well with a whisk or mixer.
Step 3
Add the milk. Mix well again. At this stage, check the consistency: it should be like thick sour cream. Adjust with more milk or flour as needed.
Step 4
Incorporate the oil and mix again until smooth.
Step 5
Cook on a non-stick skillet without adding oil until a pleasant golden-brown color is achieved.
Step 6
Serve on a plate, drizzle with maple syrup, and enjoy!
