Ingredients
- Bananas - 5 pieces
- Farm fresh eggs - 2 pieces
- Ground Oats - 1 cup
- Chopped almonds - 4.6 oz
- Bran - 1 cup
- Baking Powder - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Raisins - 3.5 oz
- Applesauce - 1 cup
- Wheat Flour - 3 tablespoons
- Nutmeg - to taste
- Cardamom - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 356°F. Grease and flour the bottom of a baking pan.
Step 2
Mix together the flour, oats, bran, baking powder, prepared raisins, and salt.
Step 3
Mash the bananas in a blender or with a fork, and chop the walnuts medium-fine.
Step 4
Combine the banana puree, applesauce, and eggs. Add to the dry ingredient mixture. Let it sit for 15 minutes.
Step 5
Fold in the walnuts. Pour into the prepared pan and bake for 60 minutes. For the last 10 minutes, cover the top with foil to prevent burning.
