Description
To make a larger batch of bars, increase the quantity of all ingredients by one and a half times.
Ingredients
- Ground Oats - 9 oz
- Sugar - 1.8 oz
- Raisins - 5.8 oz
- Baking Powder - 2 teaspoons
- Ground Cinnamon - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - ¼ teaspoon
- Applesauce - 6 oz
- Milk - 4 fl oz
- Yogurt powder - 4.2 oz
- Vegetable Oil - 1 fl oz
- Farm fresh eggs - 2 pieces
- Vanilla extract - 2 teaspoons
- Brown Sugar - 2 tablespoons
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Place a baking sheet in the oven and preheat it to 356°F.
Step 2
Grease a 20 cm round baking pan with oil.
Step 3
In a large bowl, mix the rolled oats, raisins, sugar, baking powder, salt, and most of the cinnamon.
Step 4
In another bowl, prepare a mixture of applesauce, yogurt, milk, oil, eggs, and vanilla.
Step 5
Add the liquid mixture to the dry ingredients and pour everything into the baking pan.
Step 6
Sprinkle the remaining cinnamon and brown sugar on top.
Step 7
Bake for 30–40 minutes, checking for doneness with a wooden stick.
Step 8
Let cool for 20–30 minutes, then cut into square bars.
