Description

Oatmeal cookies with cranberries and chocolate

Ingredients

  • Wheat Flour - 1 cup
  • Ground Cinnamon - ½ teaspoon
  • Baking Powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - a pinch
  • Butter - 4.8 oz
  • Brown Sugar - 0.7 cup
  • Vanilla salt - 0.4 oz
  • Chicken Egg - 1 piece
  • Dried cranberries with sugar - ½ cup
  • Oat flakes - 1 cup
  • 70% Dark Chocolate - 3.5 oz
  • Milk - 2 tablespoons

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 356°F.

Step 2

Sift the dry ingredients (flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt) through a sieve.

Step 3

Beat the room temperature butter with sugar and vanilla sugar until fluffy, then add the egg and beat again.

Step 4

Add the sifted dry ingredients and oat flakes to the butter and egg mixture and mix again with a mixer on low speed.

Step 5

Finally, add 75 g of chopped dark chocolate and cranberries.

Step 6

Now mix with a spoon. The dough will be thick.

Step 7

Line the baking sheets with parchment paper, take the dough with a teaspoon, and roll it into balls the size of a walnut with your hands. Place them on the baking sheet with enough space between them for baking.

Step 8

Bake for about 20 minutes in the preheated oven at 356°F. Watch for the edges of the cookies to turn golden brown. When you take them out of the oven, they will be quite soft, so it's important not to overbake! Transfer to a cooling rack.

Step 9

Melt the remaining chocolate with milk in a water bath, roll parchment paper into a cone, fill it with the melted glaze, and decorate the cookies.
