  • Activated Baking Soda - ½ teaspoon
  • Apple Cider Vinegar - 1 tablespoon
  • Almond - ½ cup
  • Vegetable Oil - ¼ cup
  • Sugar - ½ cup
  • Flaxseeds - 1 tablespoon
  • Mini Chocolate Chips - ½ cup
  • Dried cranberries with sugar - 2.3 oz
  • Maple syrup - 2 tablespoons
  • Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Pour vinegar into the milk and let it sit until it curdles (5–10 minutes) — it should resemble buttermilk.

Step 2

Mix oats, flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. In a separate bowl, mix vegetable oil and sugar. Add the milk with apple cider vinegar, maple syrup, flaxseeds, and vanilla extract.

Step 3

Combine the contents of the two bowls and mix thoroughly. Add chocolate and cranberries.

Step 4

Drop spoonfuls onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 8–10 minutes at 338°F (until the edges are golden brown).
