Description
Oatmeal Cookies with Dried Fruits and Almonds
Ingredients
- Dried Turkey - 3.5 oz
- Oat flakes - 1.1 oz
- Wheat Flour - 2.1 oz
- Toasted Sesame - to taste
- Flaxseeds - to taste
- Sugar - 2 tablespoons
- Chopped almonds - 0.4 oz
- Safflower Oil - 1 tablespoon
- Yogurt powder - 1.8 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
First, prepare the dried fruits. It's best to choose the ones you like the most. The proportions don't matter as long as you have 100 grams. Wash the dried fruits, soak them in boiling water if needed, and chop them into small pieces. It's best to chop them using a food processor.
Step 2
Grind the almonds into flour. Add them to the dried fruits. Also, add the sugar, oat flakes, flour (just save 2-3 tablespoons), and seeds. In general, mix all the dry ingredients into a homogeneous mass.
Step 3
Next, whisk the yogurt with the sunflower oil. Pour the resulting mixture into the prepared ingredients. Use a spoon to mix the dough; it will be quite thick. Ultimately, it should be manageable by hand.
Step 4
If you first mix the dough with a spoon and then sprinkle it with the flour you saved, the mixture won't stick too much to your hands.
Step 5
Preheat the oven to 356°F. Everything is standard from here. Grease the baking sheet with oil and place the cookies on it. To shape them better, wet your hands in cold water and rub a little sunflower oil on them.
Step 6
Bake the cookies for 15-20 minutes. The time depends on the size of the cookies and the oven, so as soon as you smell a pleasant aroma from the kitchen, it's worth checking for doneness.
