  • Dark Chocolate - 3 oz
  • Grated Ginger - 2 teaspoons
  • Oat Flour - 3.9 oz
  • Rye Flour - 1.4 oz
  • Baking Powder - 1½ teaspoons
  • Salt - a pinch
  • Oats - 1.2 oz
  • Milk - 2 fl oz

Step by Step guide

Step 1

In a deep bowl, cream the softened butter with the chopped chocolate and ginger.

Step 2

Mix the slightly toasted oats and sifted flour with baking powder into the chocolate-butter mixture, adding a little salt. Gradually incorporate the milk until the dough's texture becomes moist and resembles granola.

Step 3

Form small, thick cookies and place them on a prepared baking sheet.

Step 4

Bake the cookies in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for about 20–25 minutes until golden.
