Description

Ingredients
- Wheat Flour - 1 cup
- Ground Oats - ½ cup
- Brown Sugar - 0.7 cup
- Cinnamon - 1 teaspoon
- Baking Powder - ½ teaspoon
- Salt - ¼ teaspoon
- Butter - 6.2 oz
- Jam - 1 cup
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 356°F.
Step 2
Line an 8-inch (20 cm) square baking dish with parchment paper.
Step 3
In a deep bowl, mix the oats, flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, salt, and baking powder.
Step 4
Cut the cold butter into cubes, add it to the dry ingredients, and rub it with your hands into a coarse crumb.
Step 5
Press 2/3 of the mixture into the bottom of the prepared dish.
Step 6
Spread a layer of jam and sprinkle with the remaining crumbs (do not press).
Step 7
Bake for 25–35 minutes, until a golden crust forms.
Step 8
Cool, cut into squares, dust with powdered sugar, and serve.
