Oatmeal Cookies with Nutella
Ingredients
- Chicken Egg - 1 piece
- Sugar - 10.6 oz
- Salt - a pinch
- Vanilla extract - to taste
- Baking Powder - ⅓ teaspoon
- Ground Oats - 7.1 oz
- Butter - 5.3 oz
- Wheat Flour - 2.5 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Grind the oats in a blender (so that pieces of oats can still be distinguished).
Step 2
Beat the butter (or margarine) at room temperature with the egg and sugar.
Step 3
Add the remaining ingredients: ground oats, flour, vanilla, salt, and baking powder.
Step 4
Place the mixture in the refrigerator for at least two hours. If you're short on time, at least for 30 minutes.
Step 5
Preheat the oven to 392°F.
Step 6
Shape the cookies: you can simply roll small balls from the dough, place them on a baking sheet, and slightly flatten them; they will take shape and spread a little while baking.
Step 7
Bake for about 7–8 minutes. When the cookies are golden and light in the center, it's time to take them out.
Step 8
Cool the cookies on a wire rack.
Step 9
Spread Nutella on one side of a cookie and sandwich it with another.
