Ingredients
- Honey - 0 oz
- Vegetable Oil - 0 fl oz
- Cinnamon - ⅓ spoons
- Lemon - 1 piece
- Grated Ginger Root - 0 oz
- Oat flakes - 5 oz
- Wheat Flour - 5 oz
- Toasted Sesame - 0 oz
- Walnuts - 0 oz
- Raisins - 0 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 355°F. Chop the raisins and walnuts finely.
Step 2
Grate the ginger using a fine grater.
Step 3
In a small saucepan, warm the juice of one lemon, the zest of half a lemon, honey, cinnamon, and grated ginger.
Step 4
In a bowl, combine the oats, nuts, raisins, sesame seeds, add vegetable oil, flour, and warmed syrup made from honey, lemon juice, and spices. Knead the dough. It's best to use the finest oats, 'Extra' – the kind that cooks in about three minutes, no longer.
Step 5
Then, using a tablespoon or your hands, shape the cookies and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Step 6
Bake for about fifteen minutes. Before serving, allow the cookies to cool and dry.
