  • Milk - 8 fl oz
  • Oat flakes - ½ cup
  • Granulated sugar - 3 tablespoons
  • Egg white - 1 piece
  • Salt - ½ teaspoon
  • Wheat Flour - 8.8 oz
  • Meyer Lemon Juice - 1 teaspoon
  • Olive Oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Activated Baking Soda - ½ teaspoon

Step by Step guide

Step 1

In a deep bowl, combine the oat flakes, sugar, and salt.

Step 2

Add the lightly beaten egg and milk. Mix well.

Step 3

Add lemon juice and let it sit for 5–10 minutes.

Step 4

Combine the flour with baking soda and sift.

Step 5

Mix with the liquid ingredients. Stir and add olive oil — one or two tablespoons — depending on the consistency of the batter. It should be like thick sour cream: not too thick, but not runny either.
