Oatmeal Yogurt Cake
Ingredients
- Instant Oatmeal - 1.1 oz
- Bran - 0.7 oz
- Honey - 0.4 oz
- Egg white - 1 piece
- Cinnamon - to taste
- Chopped almonds - 5 pieces
- Natural Yogurt - 5.3 oz
- 1% Kefir - 1 fl oz
- Apple - 3.5 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Grind the oatmeal and bran in a blender until it becomes flour. Set aside.
Step 2
Whip the egg white, then add the milk, honey, and cinnamon if desired.
Step 3
Gradually add the prepared flour to the egg and milk mixture, mixing thoroughly. DO NOT USE A BLENDER! It will be too thick to clean later.
Step 4
Transfer the mixture to a microwave-safe container and top with almonds.
Step 5
I microwaved it for 2 minutes — it set perfectly. I was afraid to cook it longer as it might become too dry. It's not very moist as it is. That's why we prepare the sauce.
Step 6
Blend the yogurt and fruit until smooth. You can customize it to your taste: add honey, cinnamon, any nuts, or fruits. I made it as low-calorie as possible, but still delicious!
Step 7
Remove the cake from the microwave, cut it into pieces, and drizzle with the sauce.
