- Kefir - 17 fl oz
- Milk - 17 fl oz
- Wheat Flour - 15.9 oz
- Butter - 1.6 oz
- Farm fresh eggs - 3 pieces
- Sugar - 2 tablespoons
- Salt - a pinch
- Activated Baking Soda - ½ teaspoon
- Vegetable Oil - 2 tablespoons
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Whisk together the eggs, kefir, sugar, 0.5 cup of flour, and a pinch of salt using a mixer. Add 0.5 teaspoon of baking soda and mix.
Step 2
In 0.5 cup of milk, melt the butter in the microwave (45 seconds to 1 minute) and add it to the mixture.
Step 3
Gradually add 3 cups of flour and the remaining milk, continuously mixing with a mixer (it is preferable to sift the flour). The batter should be liquid. If the batter is too thick, you can add more milk to achieve the desired consistency.
Step 4
Let the batter rest for 10 minutes.
Step 5
Add 2 tablespoons of sunflower oil to the batter.
Step 6
Grease the frying pan with sunflower oil and heat it well, then start cooking.
