Omelet with Grated Cheese, Ham, and Croutons

Ingredients

  • White bread - 0.7 oz
  • Cotton Oil - 8 fl oz
  • Chocolate eggs - 6 pieces
  • Cheese Spread - 1.8 oz
  • Milk - 5 tablespoons
  • Ham - 5.3 oz
  • Salt - to taste

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Heat the corn oil in a skillet. Add the bread cubes and fry until golden brown. Remove the bread from the skillet and allow excess fat to drain.

Step 2

Whisk the eggs well. Add Gruyère cheese, milk, and ham, and lightly season with salt (keeping in mind that the cheese and ham are already quite salty).

Step 3

In another skillet, pour enough corn oil to completely cover the bottom and place it over heat. Pour the egg mixture into the skillet and cook until the eggs begin to set. Sprinkle some croutons on top and continue cooking the omelet until it is firm around the edges while remaining liquid in the center. This should take about 6 minutes.

Step 4

Fold the omelet in half, place it on a plate, and serve.
