Description
Omelette with garlic, Gruyère, and croutons
Ingredients
- Croutons - 14.1 oz
- Butter - 2 spoons
- Salt - ½ spoons
- Chopped Sage Leaves - 0,1 glasses
- Garlic - 1 clove
- Gruyère cheese - 1.1 oz
- Water - 1 tablespoon
- Chicken Egg - 3 pieces
- Ground Black Pepper - 0,1 teaspoons
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Finely chop 1 clove of garlic.
Step 2
Grate the Gruyère cheese using a coarse grater.
Step 3
Beat the eggs with water, salt, and pepper.
Step 4
In a small skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of oil, add the croutons (made from white bread), sprinkle with a pinch of salt, and lightly sauté.
Step 5
Then pour the egg mixture into the skillet and, using a spatula in a circular motion, being careful not to touch the croutons, wait for the eggs to thicken.
Step 6
Without removing the skillet from the heat, sprinkle the omelette with cheese and chopped parsley. Then, evenly spread the garlic over the cheese and let the omelette cook on the heat for about 1 minute.
Step 7
Gently lift the cooked omelet with a spatula from the side closest to the handle of the skillet, carefully tilt the skillet over the plate, and using the spatula to assist, allow the omelet to gradually slide onto the plate.
