Omelette with Toppings
Ingredients
- Chocolate eggs - 6 pieces
- Marinated cherries - 4 pieces
- Melted Cheese - 1.8 oz
- Basil - to taste
- Butter - 1.8 oz
- Lightly Salted Red Fish - 1.8 oz
- Green onion tops - to taste
- 10% cream - 3 fl oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Take portion-sized molds that can go in the oven. As many as you have hungry mouths! :)
Step 2
Grease the molds with butter. Add the filling: cherry tomatoes, mozzarella, basil. Another filling option: lightly salted salmon (any red fish), cherry tomatoes, green onions. Cut as much and in the proportions you need, but you definitely need to cover half of the mold!
Step 3
Pour in 2-3 tablespoons of heavy cream (I have 25%).
Step 4
Crack the eggs (I use 3), season with salt and pepper, and add a bit more cream (2-3 tablespoons on top).
Step 5
Place the molds in a deep baking dish, and pour hot water into the dish until it reaches halfway up the portion molds.
Step 6
Preheat the oven to 180-200°C and place the dish inside. Bake for about 10-15 minutes (ovens vary, so the time may differ). Bake until the yolk is just set.
Step 7
Enjoy your meal, this dish is incredibly delicious. Experiment with the fillings;)
