Ingredients
- Wheat Flour - 14.1 oz
- Cottage cheese - 7.1 oz
- Olive Oil - 8 tablespoons
- Chocolate eggs - 4 pieces
- Milk - 6 tablespoons
- Baking Powder - 0.4 oz
- Salt - to taste
- Onion - 7 heads
- Butter - 1.8 oz
- 20% Sour Cream - 10.6 oz
- Smoked turkey roll - 5.3 oz
- Bacon - 5.3 oz
- Nutmeg - a pinch
- Emmental cheese - 10.6 oz
- Natural Yogurt - 10.6 oz
- Mixed Ground Peppers - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Melt a mixture of butter and olive oil in a deep skillet.
Step 2
Meanwhile, slice the onions into half-rings, add them to the skillet, and sauté until they become golden and fragrant (be careful not to burn them), about 10 minutes. Set the onions aside to cool and prepare the dough.
Step 3
Sift the flour with the packet of baking powder, separately mix the cottage cheese with one egg, adding a little salt and 2 tablespoons of olive oil.
Step 4
Then combine the sifted flour with the cottage cheese mixture, gradually adding the milk, and knead a flexible but firm dough.
Step 5
Mix the cooled onions with sour cream, yogurt, and softened butter.
Step 6
Then finely chop the turkey roll and bacon and add them to the filling.
Step 7
Grate the Emmental cheese on a coarse grater, add the remaining three eggs, mix, and add to the filling, then add salt, pepper, and nutmeg, and mix everything well again.
Step 8
Roll out the dough so that the edges extend over the sides of the baking dish — we will use them to slightly cover the filling later. Spread the dough in a greased baking dish, top with the filling, and fold the edges over.
Step 9
Place in the oven preheated to 392°F in the middle, so that the dough and filling bake evenly. Wait for 25-30 minutes, remove, cool, and enjoy!
