Ingredients
- Oranges - 2 pieces
- Margarine - 4.1 oz
- Sugar - 3.5 oz
- Chicken Egg - 2 pieces
- Baking Powder - 1 tablespoon
- Semolina - 6.2 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Grate the zest of the oranges, avoiding the white part of the peel, and set aside. Peel the oranges, chop them roughly, and blend until smooth.
Step 2
Beat room temperature margarine with sugar until light and fluffy.
Step 3
Add the eggs, semolina, zest, and baking powder, and mix until smooth.
Step 4
At the end, fold the orange puree into the batter.
Step 5
Grease a loaf pan with margarine and transfer the batter into it. Place in an oven preheated to 356°F for 10 minutes. Then reduce the temperature to 338°F and bake for another 40 minutes.
Step 6
Allow the finished cake to cool in the pan before serving.
