Ingredients
- Sugar - 2 cups
- Farm fresh eggs - 3 pieces
- Margarine - 8.8 oz
- Wheat Flour - 3 cups
- Activated Baking Soda - 1 teaspoon
- Oranges - 1 piece
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Beat the eggs with half of the sugar, add the baking soda that has been neutralized with vinegar, and pour in the melted and slightly cooled margarine. Gradually add the flour, mixing everything until smooth.
Step 2
Divide the dough into two unequal parts. If the dough is too liquid, add a little flour to the smaller part to make it firmer.
Step 3
Place the smaller part of the dough in the freezer.
Step 4
Roll out the remaining dough and place it on a greased baking sheet. Spread the filling on top.
Step 5
Take out the frozen dough and grate it on a coarse grater, evenly distributing it with a knife over the filling.
Step 6
Bake in a preheated oven until done.
Step 7
Cut the finished, slightly cooled cookies into triangles or squares.
Step 8
To prepare the filling, wash the lemon or orange well and grate it finely along with the peel.
