Ingredients

  • Sugar - 3.5 oz
  • Orange zest - 1 piece
  • Farm fresh eggs - 3 pieces
  • Butter - 3.5 oz
  • Baking Powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Orange juice concentrate - 12 fl oz
  • Wheat Flour - 7.1 oz
  • Potato protein - 1 tablespoon

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Beat the eggs with sugar (150 g). Melt the butter and let it cool, then add it to the eggs.

Step 2

Sift 200 g of flour, mix it with the baking powder, and add the zest of 1 orange.

Step 3

Pour the batter into a mold and bake until done at 356°F.

Step 4

Prepare the cream. Take half of the juice, add 100 g of sugar with the zest, and place it on the heat. Wait for the sugar to dissolve and separately mix 2 tablespoons of flour, starch, and dilute with the remaining juice. Remove the saucepan from the heat and add the cold mixture. Constantly stirring, return it to the heat and wait until it thickens. Remove from heat and let it cool.

Step 5

Take out the cake, let it cool, cut it into 2 parts, and spread with cream, decorating with powdered sugar.
