Description
Orange Mocha Dessert
Ingredients
- Chicken Egg - 3 pieces
- Sugar - 3.5 oz
- Powdered Sugar - 4.1 oz
- Oranges - 1 piece
- Wheat Flour - 2.6 oz
- Vanillin - ½ teaspoon
- Milk - 5 fl oz
- Ground Coffee - 1.8 oz
- Gelatin - 3 pieces
- Whole egg - 2 pieces
- Coffee Liqueur - 2 tablespoons
- Egg white - 1 piece
- Salt - to taste
- Cream - 12 fl oz
- Liquid dark chocolate - 2 tablespoons
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 347°F.
Step 2
Separate the yolks of three eggs from the whites and beat with sugar and vanillin until smooth. Whip the egg whites with powdered sugar until stiff peaks form. Combine both mixtures and fold in the flour and orange zest gradually. Place the resulting batter in dollops on a greased parchment paper and bake until done.
Step 3
Soak the gelatin. Bring the coffee with milk to a boil. When the mixture cools slightly, dissolve the gelatin in it, stirring until completely dissolved. Beat the egg yolks with sugar and coffee liqueur, then mix with the coffee mixture. Whip the cream with the egg white and a pinch of salt, then gently fold into the remaining mixture.
Step 4
Line the bottom and sides of a round springform pan with the biscuit cookies. Spoon the mousse that has started to set into the center. Decorate the top with whipped cream, grated chocolate, and orange slices. Place the dessert in the refrigerator overnight.
