Description
Instead of grape seed oil, you can use any neutral vegetable oil. You can also partially or completely replace it with applesauce.
Ingredients
- Wheat Flour - 7.1 oz
- Baking Powder - 1½ teaspoons
- Brown Sugar - 1.4 oz
- Ground Oats - 1 cup
- Grapeseed Oil - 1 fl oz
- Farm fresh eggs - 2 pieces
- Orange juice concentrate - 6 fl oz
- Dessert Yogurt - 5.3 oz
- Orange zest - 1 tablespoon
- Citrus Zest Mix - ½ tablespoon
- Dried cranberries with sugar - 3.5 oz
- Honey - 1½ tablespoons
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Mix the flour, baking powder, oats, and sugar.
Step 2
In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs, oil, yogurt, and orange juice.
Step 3
Slowly pour the liquid mixture into the dry ingredients, gently mixing. Add the zest, dried cranberries, and spices to taste (cloves, ginger, cardamom).
Step 4
Divide the batter among 12 muffin cups, filling them 2/3 full. Bake at 356°F for 25–30 minutes.
Step 5
Brush the warm muffins with honey.
