- Milk - 7 fl oz
- Farm fresh eggs - 2 pieces
- Dry yeast - 0.4 oz
- Wheat Flour - 14.1 oz
- Sugar - to taste
- Salt - a pinch
- Vegetable Oil - 1 fl oz
- Oranges - 2 pieces
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Pour the yeast, sugar, and salt into warm milk. Stir until the sugar and salt dissolve.
Step 2
Beat the room temperature eggs into the mixture. Add a little oil and mix well until smooth.
Step 3
Gradually add flour until the dough reaches a regular consistency, without over-flouring.
Step 4
For the filling, mix 10 tablespoons of sugar, the zest of two (or one, depending on taste) oranges, and the juice of half an orange in a bowl.
Step 5
Once the dough has risen, divide it into two equal parts and roll each into an elongated shape (like a rectangle).
Step 6
Spread a layer of orange sugar on top. Roll tightly into a log (as tightly as possible). Cut into rolls.
Step 7
Bake until golden.
