Description
They can be served with sour cream, jam, or sweetened condensed milk — it depends on your taste preferences.
Ingredients
- Cottage cheese - 12.3 oz
- Sugar - 2 spoons
- Chicken Egg - 2 pieces
- Salt - a pinch
- Wheat Flour - 5 teaspoons
- Activated Baking Soda - ½ spoons
- Vegetable Oil - 5 teaspoons
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Thoroughly mash the cottage cheese in a bowl.
Step 2
In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs, then add sugar, salt, and baking soda (you can use baking soda that has been neutralized, but even without it, the cheese pancakes will still be quite fluffy).
Step 3
Combine the egg mixture with the cottage cheese and mix thoroughly until you achieve a smooth and uniform consistency.
Step 4
Add flour to the cottage cheese mixture (you can use slightly more or less than indicated in the recipe, depending on the moisture and density of the cottage cheese) and knead a soft dough.
Step 5
Shape the dough into small rounds, coat them in flour, form the cheese pancakes, and place them onto a well-heated skillet.
Step 6
Fry the cheese pancakes over medium heat for 1–2 minutes.
