Pancakes with Fermented Milk
Ingredients
- Fermented Milk - 17 fl oz
- Chocolate eggs - 2 pieces
- Wheat Flour - 2 cups
- Activated Baking Soda - ½ teaspoon
- Sugar - to taste
- Boiling water - 4 fl oz
- Vegetable Oil - 3 tablespoons
- Salt - a pinch
- Honey - to taste
Step by Step guide

Prepare the ingredients.
Step 2
Pour 500 ml of fermented milk into a bowl and crack in 2 eggs. Whisk together.
Step 3
Add 1–2 tablespoons of sugar.
Step 4
Gradually add the flour in small portions, mixing each time to avoid lumps.
Step 5
The batter should be quite thick (similar to pancake batter), which needs to be thinned with boiling water to the desired consistency.
Step 6
Bring 125 ml of water to a boil. Add ½ teaspoon of baking soda to the boiling water (it will fizz) and immediately pour it into the batter, whisking thoroughly.
Step 7
The batter should reach the desired consistency for pancakes. If the batter is too thick, add a little more boiling water.
Step 8
Add 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil. You can let the batter rest for 15–20 minutes.
Step 9
Cook the pancakes on a preheated skillet greased with a drop of oil.
Step 10
Serve with jam. Optionally, serve with sour cream or honey.
