Panini with Beef Tongue and Mushrooms
Ingredients
- Beef tongue - 10 oz
- Pickled Chanterelles - 5 oz
- Ciabatta - 1 piece
- Cream - 5 fl oz
- Salt - to taste
- Lemon-Pepper Mix - to taste
- Vegetable Oil - 0 fl oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Slice the pre-cooked beef tongue into thin slices.
Step 2
Wash the champignon mushrooms and slice them.
Step 3
Sauté the mushrooms in an oiled pan.
Step 4
When the mushrooms are browned, pour in the cream. Simmer on low heat.
Step 5
Add pepper mix to taste.
Step 6
Add salt. When the cream has almost completely evaporated, remove from heat.
Step 7
Cut the ciabatta lengthwise and toast it on a dry pan on both sides.
Step 8
Place the mushrooms with cream on one half.
Step 9
Top with slices of tongue.
Step 10
Cover with the other half of the bread. Serve warm or cold.
