Parmesan Waffles with Black Pepper
Ingredients
- Wheat Flour - ½ cup
- Salt - ¾ teaspoon
- Ground Black Pepper - ½ teaspoon
- Olive Oil - 2 tablespoons
- Egg white - 4 pieces
- Chopped Sage Leaves - 1 tablespoon
- Grated Pecorino Pepato Cheese - 1.4 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 302°F. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper and grease with vegetable oil.
Step 2
In a bowl, mix the flour, salt, and pepper. In another bowl, whisk the egg whites with olive oil. Combine both mixtures, stirring gently.
Step 3
Then fold in the Parmesan and parsley.
Step 4
Place about 1 tablespoon of the batter for each waffle on the baking sheet, spaced about 5 cm apart. Slightly flatten with a spoon.
Step 5
Bake for 15–20 minutes until golden brown. Cool on the baking sheet.
Step 6
Repeat the same with the remaining batter.
